Wholesalers of baby clothes should have a dynamic network of retailers that are scattered in different locations. They must be provided with pricing schemes that are attractive enough to compete with other shops in their area. As much as possible, the wholesaler should forward most of the incentives given by clothing producers to their accredited retailers. This will ensure that they will continue to market the baby clothes above other products they are carrying. If a producer does not have an incentive plan in place, a wholesaler can look for one that has it or device a separate incentive program.
